This Homemade woodworking project might not be as cool as a Vespa but the kids love riding this diy pump scooter. We had kids electric scooters and gas powered mopeds stop wait their turn to get a chance to ride my crazy pump car scooter. Woodworking projects like this are what makes woodworking fun for me. I hope through these wild projects i can inspire younger folks to get into making and explore the possibilities of their imaginations. Woodworking project don’t have to be about just furniture. Boats, scooters, even walking dinosaurs can be built from wood and powered by a drill, an electric motor or in this case man powered. Building a pump scooter for a woodworking project was inspired by growing up next to a rail road. There was and old man who built him self a rail way pump car out of wood and some salvaged parts of an old rail pump car. It was always fun to hang around his shop and see all the crazy woodworking project he was into.
I hope that this build will inspire other to try their hand at some off the wall scooter or some other crazy woodworking project just like i was inspired by that old man.
